What's my sentence.

"I enjoyed my life."

is my sentence.
I always think 'simple' is 'best.' There have been, are, would be many things. That might make me happy, sad, laugh, angry. I just hope good part of my life would be more than bad part.

2nd Writing Assignment

I support junior high school students's studying, who are not rich to pay for Juku, as a volunteer. I consider my team as a "organization," me as "leader."

Long-term vision

"New Mark" for me is teaching important thing. I was unable to decide which I should focus on, intersting thing or important thing, but I come to decide.
Some part of studying for entrance exam have to be boring because there are too many things students must remember and they can't study each things deeply. Students know only words, but they don't know what the things really are or how to use in society. For example, when I teach English, I want them to listen English songs and read lyric because I want show how English is used in the world. And I also want them to use English. There's not, however, enough time to do like that. Even if that would be interesting for them, they have to study sometheng else which is important in order to pass entrance exam.

The reason I chose 'important' be first is the goal of our organization is making them pass the exam. Even though students come to be interested in studying something, if they fail the exam, the activities of our team are regarded as 'fail'.

However, I've not given up. I still try to teach 'interesting things' when I have chance because I think the experience in the early teens is very important. It is tough job, so describing the required qualities and behaviors is difficult. The most important thing is that I have to be friendly and good at communication. If I am not friendly, Students won't be interested in what I talk and I can't both make them pass the exam and make them be interested in studying. And I also have to be good at group management in order to make our activities more efficient.

Short-Term Goals

My and our short-term goal is making students remember fundamental things, for example, the grammar and words. The problem is that it is boring to remember them. The text says "'matter-of-fact groove' can give people the sense of order they need to be productive." So I will make a structure. Students take the small exam every week and every month. That could be short-term milestones.

Focusing on staffs, we have to use technology more to do our task more efficiently. For example, Google Document is very useful to share teaching materials.

Respon to "Preface"

I don't have experience like "leading at the edge". Of course, I went through some severe situations, but I don't think I solved those problems by teamwork or leading skill. So I want to just write what I think when I read "Preface", not describe my experience.

Though title of this book is "Leading At The Edge", the author supposes the leading skills will be used at "The Center", and I was impressed that point. In page xiv, the author says "Leading at the Edge will demonstrate how these leadershp lessons can be applied to organizations confronting such contemporary challenges as competition, economic uncertainty, and the need for constant innocation, growth, and change", and in the same page, he seems to define "Edge" as "condition of ambituity, uncertainty, and change" From these description, I think he means these situation can exist not only in remote regions but in cities.

So we should learn something and think critically when we read this book, not only enjoy the story. And we should use the leading skills we learned. I thought I have to be active when I read this book.
