7th Writing Assignment

I've never taken such a huge risk. And as Ken wrote on his blog, it's really hard to imagine how would it be if I were Shackleton.

I always, however, think that it is responsible for leaders to arrange the situation where the group take smaller risk. I've read the book about the strategists and the tacticians. The tacticians do well even in severe situation, which means they run a risk and survive. But the strategists don't run a risk. They are very good at making the situation better, and in the end, they can win or survive without running a risk.

It is important to think about what we should be in front of a risk, but avoiding a risk is also needed for leaders.

  1. Hi Kohei,

Thanks for this post and this is new to me, this distinction between strategists and tacticians. Very interesting.
